Kephren 17K views 1 year ago No Man's Sky HOW TO BOOST FPS and DRAMATICALLY Improve and Optimise Game Performance - Fix LAG - Fix FPS Drops - Fix Stutters! This Guide will show you how t Also this game is actually really stable when ran on proper hardware. My PC hardware cost about half what you spent and i play max settings in 4k res and have crashed maybe 3 times in 500 hrs of game time including dozens of derelict freighter runs. Try lowering the graphics settings from ultra to high. Then do whatever it is that makes it crash. Available for PSVR and PC. No Man's Sky has come a long way since its initial release in 2016, and the latest update brings VR support so you can explore new worlds in an entirely new way. Open NV control panel from desktop, if you don't see the 3D applications settings by default, go there. Select NMS from the second tab (don't touch the global settings), if it's not listed, add it (should be listed in other programs or if not, find the exe). Changes here will only effect your driver / PC / GPU when NMS is running. I just purchased no mans sky, and the game is pretty unplayable. It's constantly stuttering, huge frame drops, which I'm guessing is related to the 100% CPU usage. It will hover around 30-50% then constantly spike to 100% causing the game to freeze for a second or two before resuming. I've read for hours and hours on what I can do to fix this. I've tried about every combination of the cpu 120 is nice for me. had to go into the binaries/settings in your install folder and modify tkgraphicssetting with notepad. #7. sgtmelin Aug 12, 2016 @ 10:15pm. what is the normal FOV on a FPS game? I have not ide. #8. LoboFH Aug 12, 2016 @ 10:18pm. On PC 90 is a very standard one, but in NMS it's clearly not enough. If you are stuttering and having fps issues still follow the guide but something that has helped me go from 45FPS to 60FPS consistently is setting your HZ mode in the Windows Mixed Reality Portal to 60HZ/60FPS instead of 90HZ. I now have 0.8% reprojection instead of 48%+.. This hypothesis is furthered by the fact that for most people reporting the issue "Changing the graphics settings" temporarily clears the problem. That would be due to the texture cashe getting cleaned and reloaded when you change graphics settings. Last edited by ThumpieBunnyEve ; Feb 24, 2022 @ 6:33pm. #63. JCbaC.
