Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, the latest entry in the long-running franchise, lives up to its name.It’s an epic in every sense of the word, with family drama, political intrigue and yes, lots of Assassin's Creed Origins: Curse of the Pharaohs is a great expansion that does a fantastic job of bringing ancient Egypt's spiritual side to life. Channelling the creativity of a clearly talented team, the DLC breaks the series' historical shackles and provides a memorable adventure packed with cool boss encounters. The new 3 games (Origins, Odyssey, Valhalla) aren't bad games in their own right, and at least Origins and Odyssey are worth a playthrough. They ARE NOT assassin's Creed games however, and they arguably haven't been since Unity, which was.. ok. I love Origins and Odyssey, just go into them without the mindset of 'im going to play an assassin's bPs8voL.
